Happy Birthday Dawson

HAPPY 5TH BIRTHDAY DAWSON!
Sunday, January 18th Dawson turned 5. I can't believe he is already 5 years old. It makes me feel so old. I just wanted to wish you a Happy Birthday, Dawson!! And tell you I love you so much!!

New Years Eve

Happy New Years!! For New Years this year Braden and I treated ourselves to dinner at Chili's then we hung out with friends for a little bit. When it got closer to New Years we decided to bring in the New Year with my parents and little brother Justin. So we left our friends and went to my parents house. When we got there they were just watching Tiger play. So we turned on the TV so we could watch the ball drop. And we make quesadillas and poured us some sparkling pear juice. When the ball dropped Justin, my Mom, and I went outside and banged pots and pans and blew our whistles. (My Dad and Braden were asleep in the living room.) It turned out to be a pretty good New Years. Thanks Mom and Justin for making our night!! Love you!

438th Christmas Party

Tonight we attended Braden's Army Christmas Party. Braden had to dress in his Class A's and I had to dress up. It was at Club Hill on Hill Air Force Base. Braden tonight was promoted to Sgt. He was really excited. Sgt. Wayment has a nice ring to it doesn't it? They showed a slideshow of pictures throughout the year in the unit and then we had a nice dinner. It turned out to be quite a lovely evening. Braden's parents attend the dinner with us as well.

Don't we make such a cute couple?

We sure do clean up nice don't we?

Ring Christmas Bells

On Dec. 13 Braden, Kinzi, Danny, and I got tickets to the Ring Christmas Bells Concert at the Conference Center. It was a really great way to enjoy Christmas music and spend time together. We had a great time. I do have to admit Danny did get a little bored so Braden and I let him play games on our phones. We also told him that if he is good then we will take him to get a treat.

Kinzi had us take her to Kristi's house after the concert so she could have a sleep over. And Braden and I decided to take Danny to Chili's. He was a little reluctant. He wanted to go to A&W not a "nice" resturant. (He's never been to Chili's) When we walked in we were just going to order dessert but we discovered that we were really hungry cause everything smelled so good. We ended up eating an appetizer, dinner, and dessert. Braden and I really enjoyed spending time with Danny. He is a really funny kid. Thanks Danny for hanging out with us.

Festival of Trees

On December 6th Braden and I took Justin to the Festival of Trees. We had a blast. There were so many cool trees and lots of activities for Justin to participate in.

Justin at the Entrance.

This tree was made with just lights. Justin thought it was really cool.

This was Braden's favorite tree. The Utah Jazz tree.
This tree was Justin's favorite. If you look closely it has balls running down it and it is all like a big wooden toy.

They had a bunch of activites for kids to do and this was Justin's favorite. He stood in the middle while they made a bubble around him. Then he got to blow and make more bubbles. It was really neat. He also enjoyed the tree you got to stick your hand in the whole and pull out a prize. Braden and I had a lot of fun. Thank you Justin for going with us.

Ready for Christmas

At our house we are all ready for Christmas. Christmas is such a fun time of year. I love the snow, the decorations, and being able to share this time with friends and family.

Twilight

On 11/22/08 at 11:45 am...
The Colledge Girls along with Braden's Mom and April Johnson (my mom's neighbor) went to see a movie about some vampires.... Twilight!! It was the best movie ever. We have all been waiting so long to see it. We have all read the books and just loved them. It was a fun girls day out. We can't wait until the next movie comes out.
